This week has been one of THOSE weeks. It was just crazy busy and so many little things went wrong. We all missed out on a lot of sleep so we were extra cranky, and it seemed like everyone else around us was extra cranky, too. It wasn't anyone's fault, really. It just kind of went that way.
I created this poster to hang in my office last year (yes . . . my office is the only room in our house left unpainted, so the walls are still bright purple). I found myself reading it a lot more this week than most weeks. It's one of my favorite quotes by Ralph Waldo Emerson, and it is exactly what I need to remember as we get ready to jump into next week.
Maybe you had one of THOSE weeks, too. If so, print one of these, and hang it where you can see it, because "This day is all that is good and fair. It is too dear, with its hopes and invitations, to waste a moment on yesterdays."
