Here's a tiny sneak peek at where I'm headed with my son Jack's third birthday party invitation. The party is at the end of May and I haven't sent out invitations yet. Whoops . . .
He chose a "dump truck" theme and we have no idea where that came from. He's all about baseball right now and has never shown much fascination with trucks, but I haven't been able to talk him into anything different.
And here's the palette I'm working with for the party:
If anyone has great ideas for dump truck birthday parties, I'd love to hear them!
Stay tuned because I hope to have a fabulous Friday Freebie next week!
I like the invitation! It's boyish but still stylish!
ReplyDeleteI think a cake in the back of one of those Tonka Dump Trucks would be super cute! You could make a "Dirt" Cake with gummy worms, etc. If the truck is "used" you could line it with wax paper or plastic wrap. And matching dirt cupcakes.
ReplyDeletemaybe you know this already but the palette is the same (or super similar) to your design blog (well and I guess your blogs) colors. Trendy, trendy -- you've heard all my noodle has to offer, so I can't be of any help :) just wanted to make that observation
ReplyDeleteno ideas, but that invitation is cute, and it would translate well to a car party that I'm thinking about for Jack (I have a while, but all he ever talks about is cars.)
ReplyDeleteIT reminds me of when my niece wanted a Lewis and Clark birthday party. How do you pull that off?
